Beginner friendly, no experience necessary.

Carve something sweet, silly, or sentimental.

Spend an evening in my studio carving your own tiny treasure in wax: a charm that means something to you, makes you laugh, or just makes you happy. After class, I'll cast your charm in metal and finish it by hand, so it's ready to wear.

It's the perfect night out with friends, and a thoughtful gift for anyone who'd love to make something with their own hands.

During our evening together, you will:

  • Learn wax carving fundamentals: tools, shaping, and detail
  • Carve your own original charm
  • Have fun in an intimate group, whether you bring friends or make new ones.

Details:

  • Duration: 3 hours, 6–9pm
  • Class size: 5 participants
  • Location: My home studio in West Seattle, WA. The exact address will be provided before class.
  • Cast in jewelers brass (included). Sterling silver available for +$25.
  • Add a chain: 14k gold-fill curb chain $70, or sterling silver chain $46

Good to know:

  • Your finished charm will be ready 2–3 weeks after class, for pickup by appointment. Shipping is available for an added fee.
  • This class focuses on carving small charms in wax.

Bring Little Charms to you! This class can travel to shops, studios, offices, and private events in the Seattle area for groups of 6–12. Email rebekah@rebekahjdesigns.com to start planning.

Cancellation, Reschedule & Refund Policy
Because this workshop includes limited seating and prep ahead of time, please review the following before booking:

Cancellations
If you need to cancel your spot, you may do so up to 7 days before the workshop for a full refund, minus any processing fees. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable.

Rescheduling
Life happens! If you need to reschedule, you may transfer your booking to another date (if space is available) up to 72 hours before the workshop. Just send me an email and we’ll get you sorted.

No-Shows
No-shows or same-day cancellations are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

Metal

We use both brass and silver, along with 14k gold fill chains and ear wires for our jewelry pieces. Out brass is a high quality brass called "jewelers brass" which is a close color match to 10k gold. This alloy allows for daily wear that's waterproof and resists tarnish. 

Sterling items are all nickel free sterling silver.

Chains

All of our brass pendants are hung from 14k gold fill 1.2mm box chains. Sterling silver pend are hung from coordinating sterling silver 1.2mm box chains.

These beautiful chains are sparkly and yet substantial enough to stand up to the weight and scale of the pendants.

Care

It is in the nature of silver and brass to tarnish and I encourage you to embrace the evolving finish of the metal but HERE are my recommendations for caring for your Rebekah J. jewelry.

Orders will be shipped within 3-5 business days of order placement via USPS Priority Mail for $8 (domestic), or USPS First Class International for $18.
