Carried Close
Where Feeling Finds Its Form

There are things we carry that don't have words yet.
Some things need hands before they find language.
We created a space where feeling finds its form.

A full day of guided reflection, ritual, and making —
culminating in a personal talisman you carry close.

Date
Saturday, August 29
Time
10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location
Seattle, WA
Venue shared upon registration
Held at a curated private venue in Seattle — details shared with registered participants.

You already know this about me.

Every collection begins with a why. A season I'm moving through, something I'm learning, a truth I'm trying to live more fully. The making is how I find the answer.

That shift — from carrying something to understanding it — is what happens at the bench. Every single time.

This retreat exists because I want you to feel that for yourself.

Three women,
one container

Carried Close is a collaboration — three women who each cultivate meaning, hold space, and help others feel safe enough to go inward.

We came together because we share a belief: that naming what you carry, and marking it with something tangible, is a profound act of self-knowing.

Come with a question, or with something that needs tender time and attention. Come with an open hand and see what the day reveals.

Either way, you'll leave having created a personal talisman — something to honor an essential part of your journey and hold a truth you want to remember.

A practice of making
meaning visible

You've watched me do this through every collection. Each one begins with something I'm carrying — a question, a season, a truth I'm trying to live more fully. The Loyal ring didn't begin as a ring. It began as a question about what it means to stay true to your path, your people, yourself. The making is how I find the answer.

That shift — from carrying something to understanding it — is what happens at the bench. It doesn't solve the thing. But it names it. It gives it form. And once something has form, you can hold it differently.

I've wanted to offer that experience for a long time. But I knew I couldn't build it alone — so I brought together two other women whose work I trust deeply, and we built something together.

You don't need experience. You don't need to arrive knowing what you want to make. You just need something you're working through — and a willingness to let your intuition lead.

What the day
holds

The day is designed to move you gently from the inside out. We begin in the body and the mind. We move toward the bench.

Morning

Arrival & Grounding

We open the space together. You'll be welcomed, grounded, and guided through an intuitive warm-up to arrive fully in your body before we begin.

Mid-Morning

Reflection & Mark-Making

A guided visualization to help you find what's at the center of what you're carrying. Then a mark-making practice — no experience required — to begin translating that into form.

Midday

Pause & Nourish

A stretch of unhurried, unstructured time. The property opens onto lush gardens and quiet land — wander it, sit in it, walk toward the lake if you need air. Browse a table of symbol books and inspiration materials as your design begins to take shape. Pull aside for a one-on-one conversation, or settle into a tarot reading. And in the middle of it all, a nourishing lunch we've prepared for you — a chance to eat, breathe, and let the morning settle before we move to the bench.

Afternoon

Making

After spending the morning turning inward, we move to the bench. You'll carve your talisman from wax, guided step by step. The carving is meditative — each mark your own, each stroke a small act of telling. Your intuition leads. No experience necessary.

Late Afternoon

Nosh + Share

A happy hour spread. Space to decompress, share your process, or simply be with what the day brought up.

Closing

Ritual & What's Next

We close the day together with intention.

2–4 Weeks Later

Your Talisman Arrives

Rebekah casts your wax piece by hand into the metal of your choice — Jewelers Brass, Sterling Silver, or Gold — and mails it directly to you. Your talisman arrives ready to be worn, ready to hold what you made it to hold.

From sketchbook to wax — translating feeling into form.

Your talisman,
your choice

You'll carve your talisman from a pre-cut wax blank — your choice of ring or pendant form. Rebekah casts and hand-finishes every piece herself in the weeks following the retreat. Your talisman is mailed directly to you.

Brass casting is included in the retreat price. Sterling Silver and Gold are available as an upgrade at market rate, based on the weight of your piece.

Ring sketch

A Ring

A wax band, pre-sized and ready for your marks. Symbols, textures, letters — carved directly into the surface. Cast and finished by hand in solid jeweler's brass or sterling silver.

Pendant sketch

A Pendant

A small wax form to mark and sculpt as you see fit. Worn close to the body, it can hold something that needs carrying. Cast and finished with a simple bail, ready to layer.
