In life we’re often headed one way only to find that you need to re-route and shift gears. In an effort to embrace this with joy instead of fear, and resistance, I created The Fragment Collection.
It was born from the practice of being grateful, honoring the fact that even though this track isn’t always the way I intended it, whether today or as a whole, it always comes full circle.

Sometimes it's the simplest things that remind us how fortunate we really are.

Hand carved and lost wax cast in either brass or sterling silver. Hung on a coordinating 14k gold fill or sterling silver box chain.

BRASS: The brass we cast with is called Jewelers Brass. It's an alloy which gives it its stunning color which compares to 10k gold in tone. Using brass allows me to create substantial pieces in gold tones at a fraction of the cost of gold. It wears incredibly well, is slow to tarnish, and easily cared for in the same way that you'd care for silver.

SILVER: all silver is sterling silver making truly hypoallergenic.

I love this necklace because there’s none like it out there. The pendant shape is unique and makes me feel fashionable when I put it on. I wear this with casual outfits as well as more formal work clothes. It's so versatile! Really great quality too.

I bought this necklace in silver as a gift for myself for making it through the school year last June! I was in communication with Rebekah about which necklace and length might match best with the other two I wear daily. I wanted to experiment with layering and this was the perfect piece to start with. I get compliments on it each time I wear it, even from my students! I love the 24" length I got, it is long enough that I can see it fully when I wear it, and even fidget with it a bit. :)

Metal

We use both brass and silver, along with 14k gold fill chains and ear wires for our jewelry pieces. Out brass is a high quality brass called "jewelers brass" which is a close color match to 10k gold. This alloy allows for daily wear that's waterproof and resists tarnish.

Sterling items are all nickel free sterling silver.

Chains

All of our brass pendants are hung from 14k gold fill 1.2mm box chains. Sterling silver pend are hung from coordinating sterling silver 1.2mm box chains.

These beautiful chains are sparkly and yet substantial enough to stand up to the weight and scale of the pendants.

Care

It is in the nature of silver and brass to tarnish and I encourage you to embrace the evolving finish of the metal but HERE are my recommendations for caring for your Rebekah J. jewelry.
