4-Week Wax Carving & Sand Casting Workshop

Over four weeks, you’ll design and carve your own signet ring in wax, then learn the art of sand casting to turn your design into metal.

🎨 All Skill Levels Welcome: Whether you’re a complete beginner or already make jewelry, this class meets you where you are.

🌟 What to Expect:

• Week 1: Start carving your design in wax. Bold, minimal, or intricate, this is where your idea takes shape.
• Week 2: Keep refining your carving and finalize every detail before casting.
• Week 3: Learn sand casting, a traditional, low-tech technique. You’ll mold your wax design and pour it in metal, and you’ll see your ring come out of the sand.
• Week 4: Clean up, refine, and polish your ring, adding the finishing touches that make it yours.

✨ Small Class Size: Capped at 6 participants, so you get personal instruction and plenty of hands-on time.

• Location: Rebekah J. Designs Studio, West Seattle
• Price: $550
• Materials: All tools and materials included to make 1 brass signet ring. Sterling silver is available for an additional fee based on weight.
• What to wear: Closed-toe shoes and natural-fiber clothing; long hair tied back.
• Ages: 14+
• Please note: This class focuses on carving and casting a single ring. It doesn’t cover casting stones in place, stone setting, or melting down your own metal. If you’d like to explore those, I’d love to work with you in a private class.
